Food is a mantra. It’s a connection between cultures, a common ground between bickering neighbors, a forum for laughter, for sharing (and maybe a little drinking). Travelers know that the uninviting looks of locals will melt to infectious happiness if you sit down to a meal with them. Food unites and I look to find the best local eateries both at home (New York) and abroad during my extensive travels.
